Police were looking for whoever killed a Turnersville man while walking on a Gloucester County road at night, authorities said. John DeMarco, 58, died in the hit-and-run crash on Monday, Nov. 4, the Washington Township Police Department said in a news release. Three men admitted to shooting a teen to death during a drug deal in Burlington Township more than three years ago, authorities said. Authorities were investigating after a dolphin that appeared to be butchered washed up on a beach in Allenhurst, marine biologists said. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center said the common dolphin's body was discovered on the beach at Allen Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 30. A man died when he was struck by a New Jersey Transit train in Red Bank, officials said. The pedestrian was hit by a southbound North Jersey Coast Line train No. 3241 at the Monmouth Street crossing at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, an NJ Transit spokesperson said.
