Pedestrian Struck, Killed In South Jersey
A 67-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed in Gloucester County, authorities said. On Monday, Aug. 12 at approximately 12:05 a.m., Harrison Township Police Department was dispatched to area of Mullica Hill Road and the Route 55 overpass in reference to a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. A 2011 International 4000 box truck, operated by a 20-year-old male resident of Dover, Delaware, was traveling westbound on Mullica Hill Road when it struck a pedestrian who was walking along the westbound shoulder of the roadway, police said. Car Flips, Utility Pole Down On Major South Jersey Roadway (

A vehicle overturned and a utility pole was down closing a major roadway in Gloucester County. The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on Friday, June 21 on Route 322 west of Route 45 in Harrison Township, according to the NJ DOT. All lanes were closed, 511nj.org reported.
