Trapped Man Under Tree Prompts Warning From Police In NJ
A man was hospitalized after his leg became pinned under a tree being cut down in Camden County on Saturday, Aug. 31, police said.
Chews Landing, Blackwood, Lambs Terrace, and Erial along with Camden Battalion 1, Camden Fire Special Operations Rescue, Cherry Hill Rescue, and Winslow responded to the scene at 1560 Blackwood Clementon Road in Gloucester Township around 2 p.m., police said.
Gloucester Township Fire departments also responded and stabilized the large section of tree that was pinning the patient's leg to the ground, while Inspira BLS and Virtua ALS treated the patient.

Firefighters Battle Apartment Blaze In South Jersey
Firefighters from multiple departments in South Jersey battled an apartment fire, authorities said.
On Tuesday, July 30, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Gloucester Township Police Officers were dispatched to 1341 Blackwood Clementon Road, Millbridge Apartments, Building 900, in response to a reported apartment fire.
Fire departments from Blackwood, Chews Landing, Erial and Lambs Terrace, along with departments from Pine Hill, Runnemede, and Bellmawr, responded and successfully brought the fire under control, police said. Assistance was also provided by Inspira BLS and Virtua ALS.

Maryland State Police ID MA, NJ Women Killed In Crash, Virginia Victim Airlifted To Hospital
Two people were killed and a third was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash in Charles County, state police confirmed.
On Thursday, police said that Norma Matthews, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Virginia Licata, 86, of Blackwood, NJ, have been identified as the pair killed in a crash on July 24 that shut down Route 301 for hours.
The other driver, King George, Virginia resident Caitlynn Connell, 28, was also flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

Kyle Sease was not just an American Water Employee.
He was a father, a son, a husband, a U.S. Army veteran, and so much more.
"This was my baby," his heartbroken mother, Joanne Devine, said in a Facebook post. "My son. He was so much more than an 'American Water Employee.'"
Sease, 26, was killed and three of his colleagues injured when their crew was hit by a vehicle at a job site on White Horse Pike in Magnolia on Wednesday, May 29, just before 10 a.m.

17-year-old Zameir Quiles was reported missing on Sunday, May 26, from his residence in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township, authorities said.
He was last seen at 12:30 a.m. on this date.
Zameir is described as being black, 5'4" tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair, and a light brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and gray sweatpants.
