Snow In New Jersey: School Closings, Delays Announced As Winter Weather Worsens Heavy snowfall and hazardous road conditions have prompted school closures and delays across parts of North Jersey Friday, Nov. 22. Precipitation is expected to continue throughout the day, with snowfall accumulation most significant near and north of the Route 78 corridor in Pennsylvania and northwest New Jersey, according to the National Weather Service in Philadelphia/Mount Holly. Parents Fighting To Save North Jersey Catholic School Slated For Closure After 65 Years After nearly 65 years, the Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Wayne is closing its doors. But many of its families refuse to accept its fate, and are fighting to keep the school that has provided love and nurture to their children alive.
