Jets Fire General Manager Amid Dismal Season The New York Jets housecleaning continues. Weeks after firing head coach Robert Saleh, the Jets, who play in East Rutherford and practice in Florham Park, have fired general manager Joe Douglas amid a dismal 3-8 record, ESPN reported.  Douglas was already on the outs at 1 Jets Dr., having not been consulted when the team fired Saleh amid a 2-3 start, ESPN said. Gang Green has gone 1-5 since firing Saleh and naming Jeff Ulbrich interim coach.
