Camden Man Sentenced In Fatal-Hit Run Crash In Central Jersey: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old man from Camden has been sentenced to 11 years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal hit-and-run crash in Middlesex County. Giovanni Gaines-Little was sentenced on Monday, July 29 in connection with a crash that occurred on Feb. 25, 2023, in South Brunswick, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. Motorcyclist, 45, Killed In Route 1 Crash: Police
A 45-year-old motorcyclist from Essex County was killed in a crash on Route 1 in Edison, authorities said. Alexander Chong of Belleville was killed when he struck the rear of a vehicle stopped at a red light, Edison police said. He ended up under the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 northbound near Old Post Road North. Woman Killed In Crash Near South Jersey Shopping Center, Police Say
An Egg Harbor Township woman was killed in a crash near a Mays Landing shopping center, authorities said. Elizabeth Walton, 41, died in the crash on Thursday, June 13, the Township of Hamilton Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the intersection of Black Horse Pike and Hamilton Commons Drive at around 7:51 p.m. Investigators said Walton was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima west on Black Horse Pike when she didn't stop at the intersection's red light. Woman Hospitalized After SUV Crashes Into Car In South Jersey: Police
An Ocean County woman was hospitalized after an SUV crashed into her car at an intersection, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the intersection of Route 70 and County Route 571 at around 3:02 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, the department said in a news release. Officers found a blue 2010 Honda Civic facing west and a black 2023 Honda CR-V off the road, both with extensive front-end damage.
