At 10:44 a.m., officers responded to a crash on Route 37 and Brown Avenue in Lakehurst, police said.  A 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, operated by Harry Paulson, was exiting the Sunoco gas station at 200 Route 37 when failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 78-year-old South Toms River man, police said. Bryce Lomas from the township's Parlin section was sentenced on Thursday, Oct. 17 to 10 years in state prison, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release. John and Patrick Mahoney, both of Washington Township, died in a collision on Tuesday, June 4 at Union and Mays Landing Roads, as previously reported by Daily Voice.  Police said John was driving a Toyota Yaris when he failed to yield to a Ford F-250 operated by an 81-year-old, which caused the crash.
