Rutgers University police were investigating two attempted burglaries in a dorm on the New Brunswick campus, authorities said. The burglary attempts happened inside Clothier Residence Hall between 4 and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, campus police said in a Facebook post. A train operator was killed and multiple others hurt after a tree fell on an NJ Transit train Monday morning, Oct. 14 in Burlington County.
