Truck Fire Closes Two Lanes On Route 80: Wharton FD
A truck fire closed two lanes on Route 80 early Monday morning in Morris County, May 6, authorities said. Crews are still on scene cleaning up after the fire near exit 34 on Route 80 East in Wharton, the Wharton Fire Department said on Facebook. People should use caution in the area and plan an alternate route, firefighters said. There is no word on any injuries.

At least two residents were hospitalized as a massive fire ripped through a Morris County duplex, authorities said. The Wharton Police and Fire departments responded to the blaze at 8 and 10 Maple Terrace and found the building engulfed in flames around 12:25 on Thursday, July 7, the police department said. Morris County rescue crews rushed to save a factory worker whose arm got stuck in a conveyor belt, authorities said. Emergency crews responded to Customized Distribution Services in Wharton and found a 19-year-old worker with his hand caught under a factory conveyor belt just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, Wharton Police Lt. William Hamilton told DailyVoice.com. The man was extricated and brought to safety in about 30 minutes, according to initial reports. Residents Hospitalized, Dog Rescued In Morris County New Year's Day House Fire
Several residents were hospitalized and a dog was rescued in a Morris County house fire on New Year’s Day, authorities said. Fire crews responded to the blaze at a 4-family home in Dover around 4:30 a.m., according to the Dover FMBA. Firefighters stretched a supply line and worked to douse the flames, which engulfed both the interior and exterior of the home, the fire company said.
