Construction Workers Find Body At Jersey City Site Construction workers found the body of a 57-year-old man while performing work early Monday, Nov. 28, city officials said. The discovery was made by workers doing construction on a home at 38 Charles St. around 9:20 a.m., city spokesperson Kimberly Wallace-Sclacione said. The incident did not appear suspicious in nature. It was not clear where on the property the man's body was found.

Authorities were seeking witnesses. The victim -- a black male in his 50s -- apparently was struck sometime at the Dean Street overpass on the westbound side in Englewood sometime between 3:30-4 a.m. and knocked into the air, responders said. His body wasn't found until just after 7 a.m., however, because it had become wedged between the guardrail and the wall of the overpass, they said. Body Found In Passaic River A man's body has been recovered from the Passaic River, authorities in Hudson County said. The unidentified man was found floating in the river near Passaic Avenue and the Belleville Turnpike in Kearny around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, March 10, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
