SUV Knocked Onto Roof In Westwood Pickup Crash Police are investigating a crash at a busy Westwood intersection that knocked an SUV onto its roof. No serious injuries were immediately reported when a Dodge RAM pickup truck t-boned a GMC Yukon at the corner of Broadway and Irvington Street, next to the NJ Transit tracks, shortly after 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15. Westwood police and firefighters immediately responded and got everyone involved out OK, including a visibly upset boy who was in the SUV, witnesses said. The SUVs appeared to be headed to a call when they collided at the corner of Straight and Van Houten Street/College Boulevard early Friday evening, June 17. Phillipsburg Intersection Closed As Tractor-Trailer Knocks Down Traffic Light A busy Phillipsburg intersection was shut down after a tractor-trailer knocked down a traffic light, authorities said.  The light was knocked down at the intersection of South Main and Center on the morning of Monday, Aug. 29, according to a post on the town’s Facebook page. Avoid South Main and Center. Tractor trailer knocked down traffic light. Plan alternate route.
