A 23-year-old Morris County man died in a two-motorcycle crash in Passaic County last month, police said. Sean McClinton, of Riverdale, was heading north on a 2022 Triumph STR north on East Shore Road when he ran off the road to the right and struck the guardrail, causing him to separate from the motorcycle around 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 31, a spokesperson for the West Milford Police Department said. A 47-year-old Newark man was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Friday, July 19, for a deadly 2021 crash on the Garden State Parkway where he was driving intoxicated at 114 mph, authorities said. Prosecutor Identifies Victim Killed In Route 46 Crash
Gerard Calcagno, a 55-year-old Bloomfield resident, was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 46 in Parsippany on Thursday, June 6, authorities said. At 9:50 p.m., Calcagno was struck near 1429 Route 46 by a 2015 Dodge Journey traveling eastbound, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. Dirt Bicyclist Struck, Killed On Clifton Street
A 24-year-old dirt bicyclist was struck and killed on a Clifton street just below Route 46, authorities confirmed. A 2007 Honda bike driven by the as-yet unidentified rider collided with a Honda CRV at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and East 11th Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, they said. A 73-year-old Bayonne woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 46 in Parsippany on Monday, April 8, authorities said. At 11 a.m., Sonia Diaz was crossing Route 46 West at North Beverwyck Road in Parsippany, when she was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee, which collided with a second vehicle, a Kia Forte, Megan Knab, a spokeswoman for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. A father has died from injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car on Monday night, according to police and his family. Lower Paxton Township Police were called to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 5500 block of Allentown Boulevard on Dec. 20 at 6:17 p.m., according to a release by police.
