Red Bulls Staffer Davauni Brown Dies At 31: 'Amazing Individual' Davauni Brown, who worked as an operation manager for the New York Red Bulls and lived in Newark, died on Thursday, Oct. 5 at the age of 31 after a long battle with a serious illness, the team announced. Brown was born in Kingston and migrated the United States as a teenager, according to his obituary. He earned his master's degree at New Jersey City University in June 2021 and said working for the Red Bulls as his dream job, his obituary reads. MSU Student Breanna Pifano, 20, Dies Weeks After Suffering Cardiac Event Breanna Pifano, a 20-year-old student at Montclair State University, died on Monday, Sept. 18, after suffering a cardiac event earlier this month, according to her obituary. Breanna was born on Dec. 18, 2002 and was in her third year at MSU studying biology, with aspirations of becoming an optometrist.  A fundraiser was set up to assist the family with medical and funeral expenses. Services for Gabriel Torres, a Jackson native, were held at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, with internment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
