Couple Killed In Parkway Crash With Snowplow
A man and woman from Lakewood were killed after crashing into a snowplow truck on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County, authorities said. State police said an SUV driven by 29-year-old Eliyahu Naydavoud was heading north on the parkway in Tinton Falls around 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15. A snowplow truck was also traveling north and tried to turn into an emergency vehicle U-turn area near mile marker 104.2. Naydavoud's SUV crashed into the side of the snowplow. Dozens Of Boys From Rockland, Brooklyn Hospitalized With Food Poisoning After Ukraine Trip
More than two dozen boys were reportedly taken to hospitals in Rockland County, the Catskills and Brooklyn after they apparently suffered food poisoning while returning from a trip to Ukraine. The boys, all in their upper teens, were nauseous, vomiting and feverish, among other reactions, after landing at an unidentified New York City airport, responders said. An entire Newark-bound flight was forced off the plane after a 2-year-old girl refused to wear a face mask, reports say. Chaya Bruck of Brooklyn, NY, was flying alone from Orlando Wednesday with her six children when her youngest, Dina, refused to keep her mask on, she said in a Facebook post.
