NJ Tri-County Takedown Nets 12,100 Heroin Folds, 9Β½ Ounces Of Crack, $107,089 Cash, Loaded Gun
A law enforcement supergroup seized 12,100 folds of heroin mixed with fentanyl, 9Β½ ounces of crack, $107,089 in suspected drug money and a loaded gun while busting a drug-dealing North Haledon couple, authorities said.
Armed with search warrants, investigators hit 10 locations in Passaic, Bergen, and Sussex counties, leading to the arrests of Demoy Woolley and QaβLasia Williams.
The couple became the focus of an investigation by Wayne police last November, said Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wayne Police Department Chief Jack McNiff.

50 MPH Winds Knock Power To More Than 30K New Jersey Residents
Wind gusts nearing 50 miles per hour left thousands of New Jersey residents without power Monday, March 11.
According to the National Weather Service, winds are expected to die down in the evening with a wind advisory in effect until 11 p.m.
Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 50.

π¨π£πππ§π: A video of a girl believed to be 3 to 5 years old astride a shirtless, bearded tattooed man was among the evidence that apparently convinced a North Jersey retiree to plead guilty in federal court to trafficking child pornography, records show.
The clip was among 65 videos and 250 images that Gaetano Lapegna, 65, had collected of "prepubescent children engaged in sexual acts with adults and other children," an agent with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations Newark cited in a complaint.

UPDATE: The ASPCA said on Wednesday that it helped remove more than 90 adult dogs and puppies from the Sussex County home of a self-described animal couple who were charged with multiple cruelty-related counts.
Two dogs were found dead during a 7 a.m. raid at a Vernon Township home led by the Sussex County Prosecutorβs Office on Tuesday, Feb. 20, authorities reported.
