Victim Of Hawthorne House Fire Airlifted To Burn Center, Investigators Summoned Authorities were investigating the circumstances surrounding a house fire in Hawthorne on Wednesday that sent a burn victim to St. Barnabas in a medical chopper. Delinquents Pelt Hawthorne Police With Bottles, Profanity At Huge Underage House Parties Hawthorne police had bottles and profanities hurled their way while responding to separate back-to-back house parties that each drew hundreds of juveniles, authorities said.
