: Wild Stolen Car Chase Ends In Paterson With Struggle, Gunshot, Prosecutor Confirms
A Paterson police officer’s gun accidentally discharged during the arrest of a repeat offender from Sussex County after he led officers on a wild stolen car chase, authorities said. It took three days for Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes to confirm the incident from Monday night, Jan. 9. UPDATE: A trio of Newark thieves were captured on the FDU campus in Teaneck after they led police on a stolen car chase out of Franklin Lakes. Paramus Police Officer Sean Casey began pursuing the white 2017 Audi 7 on eastbound Route 4 shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, Deputy Police Chief Robert M. Guidetti said. Police Nab 4 After Stolen Car Crashes At Route 4, 17 In Paramus
Police took four suspects into custody following a stolen car chase that ended in a crash at the Route 17 exit to Route 4 in Paramus before dawn Monday. Upper Saddle River police began chasing the vehicle stolen in their town around 2:45 a.m., then pulled back on Route 17, Detective Lt. Edward Kane said. Stolen Car Chase From Bergen Ends In Rockland With Driver Captured By

Speeds reached 100 miles an hour in a stolen car chase that began Thursday in Fair Lawn and ended with New Jersey state troopers capturing the Paterson driver a half hour or so later in Rockland County, authorities said. Fair Lawn police were alerted after the 2013 Kia SUV -- reported stolen out of Rutherford -- was tracked via GPS to their area.
