The Susquehanna and Western Railroad train struck the victim in the area of East 28th Street and 19th Avenue shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sept. 6, they said. City police, firefighters and EMS workers responded. The railroad temporarily stopped its traffic. The victim was brought to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson.
