Her name is Millie, and she's doing just fine. Sparta police officers helped deliver the baby girl on Monday, Jan. 15 on Route 35. Parents Tyler and Stephanie had called police as Stephanie was in active labor on Route 15 south near the Jefferson line just before 9 p.m., officials said. In less than a minute, Officer Christopher Botta found the vehicle pulled over on the shoulder of Route 15. A driver was flown to a nearby trauma center after a multi-car crash involving a school bus in Warren County, authorities said. (Scroll for photos). The Mansfield Township Fire Company responded to the crash on Route 57 near Watters Road in Mansfield Township around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, the department said on Facebook. The crash involved a school bus with no passengers and a driver that had self-extricated with serious injuries, the department said. Vernon Police Officers Help Deliver Baby In Resort Bathtub
Several Vernon police officers jumped into action to help a woman give birth when she went into active labor at a local resort last week, authorities said. Josie Rodriguez was staying at Appalachian Hotel on Route 94 when her water broke shortly after 12:15 p.m. last Thursday, township police said on Facebook. Officers Abigail Lorenz and Colton Rembish arrived and helped Rodriguez into the bathtub. An Andover Township woman snorted heroin, threatened officers, and tried defecating and urinating at police headquarters while being arrested twice in the same day, authorities said. Deanna Wassmer, 26, slammed a door in the face of an officer responding to reports of a domestic dispute between her and her Main Street neighbors around 11 a.m. last Friday, Hamburg Police Lt.
