The NJ State PBA has released a photo of the wreckage of the Saturday, Oct. 5 crash caused by a DUI driver that left multiple police officers injured, including one seriously. As of press time, Saddle River Police Officer John Latka has been released from the hospital, while Allendale Police Officer Mark Dunn, Jr. remains hospitalized in critical condition, the NJ State PBA said. The future of the shuttered Stop & Shop at the border of Ridgewood on Route 17 in Paramus is becoming clearer. On Thursday, Aug. 22, Paramus Mayor Chris DiPiazza announced Costco submitted plans for the site. Stop & Shop shuttered in 2022 while Kmart closed in 2021.
