Photos: Fire Crews Douse Blaze At Sussex County Computer Recycling Center Several Sussex County fire crews were quick to douse a blaze that broke out at a local computer recycling center before dawn Sunday. Hardyston and Franklin fire departments responded to the scene at 1 Park Drive just before 2:45 a.m. and observed smoke billowing from the back of the building, authorities said. The address is listed on Google Maps as the location of Back Thru The Future Computer Recycling, Inc. ‘Going To Be Fighting This Fire Next Few Days,’ Passaic Mayor Says Of Massive Blaze UPDATE: A massive, multi-alarm blaze that consumed a Passaic recycling company continued burning into late morning Saturday as firefighters fought raging flames along with bitter cold. All of the workers at Atlantic Coast Fibers plant on 7th Street got out OK and no serious injuries were reported in the inferno, which began shortly after 11 p.m. Friday. A firefighter was hospitalized with an undisclosed injury, and the Passaic County prosecutor’s arson unit responded because of the size and amount of damage caused by the blaze, authorities said. Christmas Comes Early For Kittens Left For Dead At South Jersey Recycling Center Finding objects that have been thrown away improperly with recyclables is not out of the norm for recycling workers. But when staffers heard saw movement and heard cries coming from a backpack on a conveyor belt at the Burlington County Recycling Center, they knew this wasn't trash. To their shock and surprise, three small kittens were inside the bag. They had apparently been placed in the backpack and abandoned in a recycling container.
