The driver of the car that rammed into a Phillipsburg school bus on Route 22 Tuesday afternoon was fleeing authorities in two states, WFMZ reports. A bus transporting first- and second-graders from Phillipsburg Primary School was struck by a vehicle shortly after dismissal on Dec. 12, Daily Voice reported. Superintendent Gregory Troxell has said that some of the 22 students onboard received minor injuries. Bus Transporting Phillipsburg Elementary Students Struck By Vehicle On Route 22
A bus transporting first- and second-graders from the Phillipsburg School District was struck by a vehicle on Route 22 shortly after dismissal on Tuesday, Dec. 12, the superintendent confirmed. The bus was transporting 22 children from Phillipsburg Primary School, which had just dismissed its students, when it was struck by a vehicle on Route 22 eastbound, Superintendent Gregory Troxell told Daily Voice. Beloved Phillipsburg Teacher Dies After 2nd Cancer Battle
The Phillipsburg community is mourning the death of a first-grade teacher and mother of three Susan Fairchild on Aug. 23 after two cancer battles. Fairchild, 49, had worked as a first-grade teacher in the Phillipsburg Primary School district for 22 years, Superintendent Gregory Troxwell said in a statement. A native of Belleville, Fairchild was raised in Forks Township, PA, and lived in Easton at the time of her death, her obituary says.
