90-Year-Old Woman Rescued From House Fire By Police, Fire Chief: Clinton Township PD A 90-year-old woman was rescued from a house fire in Clinton Township on Saturday, Oct. 5, authorities said. At 3 p.m., police reported heavy smoke coming from the front door of the home on 15 Westchester Terrace, the Clinton Township Police Department said in a release. Officer Michael Malanga and Fire Chief Jeff Hedden approached the front door and heard a woman yelling for help from inside the home, authorities said. Police: Drunk Hackettstown Man, 41, Acts Belligerent To Nurse, Throws Phone At Patrol Car A 41-year-old Hackettstown man was intoxicated when he became belligerent toward a nurse during treatment of a head injury and threw his phone at a police cruiser, authorities said. The man — whose name was not released — was found intoxicated with a head injury requiring stitches when officers arrived at a home for a welfare check on Jan. 2 around 6 p.m., Mansfield Township Police said.
