A third-tier prizewinning lottery ticket from the Wednesday, Aug. 31 Powerball drawing was sold in North Jersey.
The ticket was purchased from the ShopRite of Essex Green, located at 495 Prospect Ave., West Orange.
The winning numbers were: 07, 08, 19, 24, and 28. The Red Power Ball number was 01. The Power Play was 2X.
There were 16,021 other New Jersey players who took home an estimated $92,248 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $148 million for the Saturday, Sept. 3, drawing.
Two Winning Jersey Cash 5 Tickets Sold In North Jersey
A pair of winning Jersey Cash 5 tickets splitting the $546,934 jackpot were sold in North Jersey.
Each ticket from the Sunday, Aug. 7 drawing is good for $273,467.
The winning numbers were: 02, 03, 13, 15, and 37 and the XTRA number was: 04. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
Bergen County: Oradell Mini Market Deli, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell; and,
Hudson County: 7-Eleven #34182, 6004 Bergenline Ave., West New York.

A Powerball ticket good for $150,000 was sold at a North Jersey 7-Eleven.
The ticket from the Wednesday, July 20 drawing was sold at 7-Eleven #36882, 203 Darling Ave., in Nutley.
While the ticket initially won the $50,000 third-tier prize, it was purchased with the Power Play option, multiplying the prize to $150,000.
The winning numbers were: 10, 20, 23, 49, and 65. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The Power Play was 3X.

The winning Pick-6 ticket good for $17.3 million was sold at a North Jersey 7-Eleven on Monday, July 11 (7/11).
The ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 490 Valley St., in Maplewood and claims the annuity jackpot.
The lucky retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
