A transformer caught fire and caused numerous Warren County residents to lose fire as a truck slammed into a utility pole, authorities said. The truck crashed into a utility pole on Route 31 South in White Township on the morning of Friday, August 12, according to the Mountain Lake Fire Company. Dump Truck Overturns, Shuts Down Route 46 In Warren County
A dump truck overturned and shut down Route 46 in Warren County, authorities said. The truck overturned near Quenby Mtn. Road and Pequest Fish Hatchery during the afternoon on Wednesday, June 1, the Mountain Lake Fire Company said. A photo from the scene shows a load of dirt or sand spilled over the roadway with several emergency vehicles. The area between Quenby Mtn. Road and Pequest Fish Hatchery was closed for the crash investigation and cleanup until further notice, police said. It was not immediately clear when the lanes would reopen.

One person was hospitalized and a cat was treated for smoke inhalation Wednesday night following a massive house fire in Warren County, authorities said. The two-alarm fire broke out at a home on Chaucer Drive in Independence Township shortly after 8:10 p.m., initial reports said. The local first aid squad rushed to the scene and immediately requested backup to provide the full extent of their rescue and rehabilitation services, the squad said.
