SWAT Raid: PalPark Parents Charged With Running Drug Mill, 80 Lbs Of Pot, $303,610, Gun Seized
A Palisades Park couple with young children were charged with running a drug mill from their home, said authorities who reported seizing 80 pounds of pot, $303,610 in alleged proceeds and a gun during a raid.
David Baez, 36, was stopped and taken into custody after driving away from the Hillside Avenue home that he shares with Massiel Inoa, 28, and their children, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Their children were with Inoa, 28, when detectives and borough police -- backed by a Bergen County Regional SWAT team -- raided the home moments later, Musella said.

Police: PA Couple Found With Drugs, $135K Cash In Morris County Charged With Money Laundering
A Pennsylvania couple police say were locked out of their vehicle in Morris County were found with drugs and more than $135,000 in cash, according to officers who responded to assist them.
Officers responded to the parking lot of TJ Maxx in Hanover where they found Keith Russell, 42, and Kelsy Russell, 31, locked out of their vehicle on August 13, police said.
While attempting to unlock the vehicle, officers saw an unspecified controlled dangerous substance in clear view, police said.

An upstate New York ex-con busted for drugs two months ago was illegally carrying hollow-point ammo, along with some drugs, when he was stopped on Route 17 before dawn Tuesday, Rochelle Park police said.

Police: Route 17 Driver Had Collection Of Pot, Mushrooms, Oxy, More For Sale
A Maywood police officer stopped a drug market on wheels on Route 17 and arrested the driver, authorities said.
Officer Michael McMahon stopped Vittorio Rizzo, 42, of Belleville on the northbound highway for a variety of motor vehicle violations on Saturday, Police Chief Terence Kenny said.
McMahon summoned Detective Christopher Nichols and his K-9 partner, Ryker, who detected drugs in the vehicle, Kenny said.

An estate executor from Passaic County diverted $75,000 for her own entertainment, to pay credit card bills and for other personal purposes, authorities charged.
Nancy Williams, 64, “was responsible for distributing the assets of the estate to the beneficiary,” Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.
“Instead, Williams illegally took the assets of the estate and converted the assets to her own use” for two years, beginning in August 2016, Valdes said.

Report: NJ Therapist Sued For Overcharging Central Jersey Schools Faces Criminal Trial
A New Jersey occupational therapist who faces a criminal trial for theft from Edison Township Public Schools is now accused of overcharging another school district in Middlesex County.
Rebecca Dean, 42, of Somerset County was sued on April 26 by the East Brunswick School District, which alleges they overpaid her Union County business $200,000 for services they never received, according to NJ Advance Media.

A Wayne couple was sentenced to federal prison Tuesday for buying $4.5 million worth of food stamps from customers at a grocery store they managed in Paterson.
Ibrahim Zughbi, 67, got 3½ years in a federal penitentiary while his wife, Miriam Zughbi, 63, also of Wayne, was sentenced to two years, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said.
