Car Engulfed In Flames At Kinnelon Shopping Center: FD
A vehicle fire caused minor damage to a shopping center in Kinnelon on Sunday, March 17, authorities said. At 12:11 p.m., the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Company responded to a car fire at the Stonehouse Plaza Shopping Center on Boonton Avenue, firefighters said on Facebook. The wind caused the smoke and flames from the vehicle fire to push toward the building, firefighters said. Firefighters said they extinguished the car fire despite a ruptured gas tank on the vehicle. Crews Battle Smoky Boonton Pool House Blaze (

Several fire crews around Boonton vigilantly battled a smoky blaze that broke out at a pool house and a large patch of brush surrounding it, authorities said. The Boonton Fire Department responded to the blaze in the township just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, the squad said. Upon arrival, crews found the pool house fully engulfed, as well as a large brush fire near it, prompting the setup of two attack lines, the department said.
