The 67-year-old victim was struck in the areas of Harrison and Bergen avenues shortly after 10:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was taken to University Hospital in Newark with life-threatening injuries and then transferred to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, where he remained in critical condition, the prosecutor said on Monday. A 22-year-old Connecticut man is facing multiple assault charges following a crash that seriously injured two passengers in New Jersey last year. Daniel Leal Jr., of Meriden, CT, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 2, in connection to a crash that happened in Kearny in October 2021, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced. NJ Worker Crushed By 6,000 Pounds Of Porcelain Was Loving Family Man
The New Jersey construction worker who was killed after being crushed by three tons of porcelain last week is being remembered as a loving family man. Walter Sanchez was taken to a local hospital in cardiac arrest and later died following the Sept. 20 incident at Porcelain Source on Harrison Avenue in Kearny, an OSHA representative confirmed.
