Morris County Employer Burglarized At Gunpoint By Disgruntled Former Workers, Police Say
Several suspects were arrested after burglarizing their former employer’s Morris County home while armed with a handgun, authorities said.
Officers responded to the burglary report at a home on Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover on Thursday, Aug, 18, a release from the local police department said.
Upon arrival, officers caught one of the suspects in a stolen vehicle in the driveway.
When the other suspects were asked to exit the home, they took off running, one of them holding a handgun, according to police.

Several pounds of marijuana and 13 firearms were seized last weekend in Newark, including one defaced firearm from a 13-year-old boy, authorities said.
The boy was arrested on the 600 block of 15th Avenue when police observed him with a loaded and defaced firearm on Friday, April 22, Newark Public Safety Director Brian O'Hara said.

Two people who fired shots inside and out of a Bethlehem bar were in police custody as of Saturday, April 9, authorities announced.
Brian, 36, and Judith Saffarally, 35, both of N. 2nd Street in Lehighton, discharged the weapon around 11 p.m. at Big Woodys during a fight on Easton Avenue, Bethlehem police said.

A 14-year-old boy shoved a 9mm handgun into his waistband seconds before he was seized by Paterson detectives outside a neighborhood liquor store, authorities said.
The boy was among a dozen or so people " blocking the business entrance, playing loud music, and consuming alcoholic beverages" in the middle of the 100 block of North Main Street, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
