Golf Spectators Needed For 'Happy Gilmore 2' Filming In West Orange There are still roles to fill in the sequel to cult classic "Happy Gilmore" ahead of an upcoming shoot in New Jersey. A recent casting call is seeking golf spectators for the Adam Sandler film. The notice says extras will be portraying 2000s golf spectators on Sept. 24 in West Orange. Actors are needed for about 10 hours of work, or $176. Those who have already worked on the film should not apply. "Happy Gilmore 2" has been spotted filming all across New Jersey, most recently in Hackettstown. The movie will be streamed on Netflix. Click here to apply.

NJ High School Vice Principal Dies Suddenly, 54 Edward "Ed" Forman, a Montclair dad and the vice principal of Boonton High School, died suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 3, according to his obituary on the Moriarty Funeral Home website. He was 54 years old. A letter sent to the district by Boonton Public Schools Superintendent Thomas Valle said that staff learned of Forman's passing just after gathering to begin the new year. Golf Course Near Ex-Playboy Club Vandalized, NJ Town's Mayor Says (Video) A golf course located next to a former Playboy Club was vandalized in Sussex County on Saturday, July 27, authorities said. Vernon Mayor Anthony Rossi posted a video on Facebook of the vandalism at Great Gorge Golf Course, which is located next to the site of a former resort, that previously had a Playboy Club in the 70s and 80s. The video shows the 27-hole golf course torn up from what appears to be tire tracks. "If you have any information on who did this please contact the Vernon Police Dept at 973-764-615," Rossi said.
