Sussex County Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Wreck On NY Roadway A 54-year-old Sussex County man died following a two-vehicle crash on a New York highway. The Orange County, NY wreck happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in the town of Deerpark, on Route 209 near Third Street, according to State Police. Investigators say David Castner, of Highland Lakes, was driving a motorcycle southbound on Route 209 when he attempted to make a left turn onto Third Street.  He collided with a pickup truck that was turning onto the highway and was thrown from the vehicle. Warwick Police Officer Jordan Tetreault was headed southwest on Route 94 when her 2019 Ford Explorer was rammed by the rig coming northwest off Warwick Turnpike at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, New York State Police said.
