A 7-year-old girl sustained burn injuries after her costume caught fire on Halloween in Lambertville, authorities said. At 8 p.m., the girl was trick or treating on North Union Street with her parents when she walked up a flight of steps to a house for candy, when her costume made contact with a lit candle lining the steps and caught on fire, Lambertville police said. Service to NJ Transit and Amtrak trains was disrupted for the second time this week on Thursday, June 20 due to both power issues and brush fires along the NJ Turnpike, officials said. "Kids playing around" brought firefighters to a Franklin Lakes home where a 21-year-old woman was unable to free herself from a pair of handcuffs. An MBA fellow at Rowan University has designed an app to enhance the security of students at the Glassboro campus. Siena Rampulla was a victim of an off-campus break-in in March 2022, as reported by Daily Voice. Jorge L. Navaheredia, 29, of Sicklerville, had broken into several women's homes including Rampulla's, according to Glassboro police. He was caught hiding under a kitchen sink with panties, police said.
