A male-dominated South Jersey golf club kept women from becoming members, prevented them from owning homes on its property and handicapped those employed there, state authorities charged. As of last July, only three of the Pine Valley Golf Club’s 700 members were women, Acting Attorney General Matthew J. A man who worked at a Sussex County Home Depot for more than two decades has filed a lawsuit against his former employer saying that the home improvement chain fired him after he suffered from a heart attack and had to return to work on light duty, reports say.
