Man Arrested For DWI Following Crash At Mavis Discount Tire: Denville PD
A 31-year-old Dover resident was charged with driving while intoxicated after a car crash at Mavis Discount Tire in Denville, authorities said. At 5 p.m., police responded to the parking lot of the Mavis Discount Tire at 44 Righter Ave. for a report of a car crash, officers said in a release. An investigation revealed the driver, Steven Alterisio, was driving under the influence, police said. Altersio was also found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia, police said. Morris County Caregiver Charged With Harassing Client: Police
A 63-year-old caregiver in Morris County was charged with harassing one of her clients, authorities said. Police in Denville responded to harassment report at a local home around 1:25 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said in a release. A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of Luz Schilling, 63, of Dover, on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Schilling was charged with harassment and released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance in Denville Township Municipal Court.

Morris County Man Assaulted Victim At Local Business, Police Say
A Morris County man was charged after assaulting a victim at a local business, authorities said. Martin Aguilar, 28, is accused of assaulting the victim at a business in Denville on Tuesday, Aug. 30, township police said in a release on Friday, Sept. 9. Aguilar, of Denville, was charged with simple assault and scheduled to appear in Denville Township Municipal Court.

Woman Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Morris County Crosswalk; Driver Charged: Police
A 61-year-old woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car in a Morris County crosswalk, resulting in several charges for the driver, police confirmed. The Denville woman was crossing Broadway near the intersection of Second Avenue using a marked crosswalk when she was hit around 8:55 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, Denville Police said in a release. The victim was taken to St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville for treatment of minor injuries, police said. A follow-up investigation led to the driver, Elizabeth Muchmore, 76, of Green Pond, being issued summonses for failure to stop for a pedest…
