Several credit card skimming devices were found during the recent inspection of a Morris County gas station, police confirmed. The devices were found installed on several Denville gas pumps during a recent inspection by the NJ Division of Weights and Measures, Denville Police said Wednesday. Musolino died while sleeping in bed at his family's Hopatcong home on Tuesday, Sept. 28, his obituary says. A woman was struck and killed by a commuter train Thursday morning in Wayne, authorities confirmed. The unidentified woman was struck shortly after 7:30 a.m. just west of Main Street and Dewey Avenue, NJ Transit Chief Communications Officer Nancy Snyder said. Agency officials initially believed the incident occurred in Little Falls because that's where the train stopped. Another look determined that it occurred on the Wayne side of the border. State Police: Driver Hospitalized After Running Honda Off Route 80 In Denville, Hitting Tree
A Honda Civic driver was hospitalized after veering off Route 80 and hitting a tree in Denville Tuesday evening, state police said. The driver was traveling down Route 80 westbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree near milepost 38.4 just after 6:05 p.m., NJSP Trooper Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. The driver was taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Peele said. No passengers were inside the vehicle, and no other cars were involved, authorities said. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.

A girl was seriously injured after being struck by a train in Morris County Thursday evening, NJ Transit officials said. The girl was struck by the Montclair Boonton Line train 1079 west of Abbot Road in Montville just before 5:50 p.m., an NJ Transit spokesperson told Daily Voice. A disgraced former dentist who already had a criminal history involving crystal meth admitted having the drug when the DEA raided his Morris County home last year. Frederick Bailey, 61, pleaded guilty via videoconference with a federal judge in Newark to having and conspiring to distribute methamphetamine, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said.
