: 'Chopped' Kosher Chef Jailed On New Child Sex Assault Charges Out Of Teaneck
A kosher chef from Teaneck who appeared on the Food Network show "Chopped” was jailed after a grand jury in Hackensack indicted him on charges of sexually assaulting a child. Shalom "Sal" Yehudiel, 41, was arrested at JFK Airport last month when authorities said he tried to flee the country. He'd only just had previous child sex assault charges against him dismissed by a judge in Hackensack at the time. Englewood Maintenance Worker, 37, Charged With Raping Underage Teen
A maintenance worker from Englewood was charged with raping an underage girl. Lamelle Pulley, 37, remained held Wednesday in the Bergen County Jail awaiting a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack. The day before, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said, Englewood police notified members of his Special Victims Unit of the allegations that Pulley sexually assaulted a child who was under 16. Pulley was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and child endangerment.

A Teaneck chef once praised in the Jewish community for his restaurants has been chopped from his contract with the local rabbinical council that upheld his kosher certification following his arrest on charges of child sex assault. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a fugitive wanted for raping children decades ago. A federal arrest warrant for Angel Gonzalez was issued in U.S. District Court in Newark in 2010 for sexually assaulting several young girls in New Jersey between 1999 and 2006, the bureau said Tuesday. A Dominican national living in Teaneck sexually assaulted a pre-teen, authorities charged. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Teaneck police contacted detectives with his Special Victims Unit on Monday “regarding the sexual assault of a child under the age of thirteen” by Arcadio Garcia, 66. Warren Man Who Sexually Abused Child, 6, Gets Nearly 13 Years In Prison Before Possible Parole
A 31-year-old Warren County man convicted of sexually assaulting a child must serve nearly 13 years in state prison before he'll be eligible for parole after being sentenced this week. Justin D.
