Custodian Finds Spent Ammo In Morris County Middle School Hallway
A custodian found a spent ammunition round in the hallway of a Morris County middle school, authorities said. The discovery was made at Chatham Middle School on Monday, May 1, according to local police. The shell casing was turned over to the principal and School Resource Officer Brian Stanton who immediately notified the police department. Police in one Morris County town have issued several alert after three vehicles were stolen within a matter of two days — and two of them within a span of less than 10 minutes. The first two thefts occurred from Oliver Street and Chandler Road in Chatham “in about eight minutes,” on Tuesday, July 5, local police said in a release the following afternoon. A 19-year-old man was taken to Morristown Medical Center after being struck by lightning while in a Chatham Borough field Thursday evening, authorities said.
