A 24-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in West Orange on Tuesday, Oct. 29, authorities said. First responders arrived at Pleasant Valley Way and Belle Terre Road near the Route 280 ramp at 11:59 p.m. and saw multiple injuries at the scene, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office and Joe Fagan, the public information officer for the city of West Orange said. Woman Airlifted In Route 80 Crash:

A woman had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after a crash on Route 80, the early morning of Monday, Oct. 28, state police said. At 2:56 a.m., a Madza SUV was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Rockaway Township when it entered the right shoulder and crashed into the back of an unoccupied truck, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 28-year-old Kenvil woman, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Antique Car Damaged in Sussex County Crash: Firefighters
An antique car suffered some scrapes in a car crash on Sunday, Oct. 13 in Sussex County. At 4:41 p.m., the Frankford Township Fire Department was dispatched to Route 206 and Broad Street for a car crash with injuries, firefighters said. Three people were evaluated for injuries and first responders dealt with a fuel spill from one of the vehicles, firefighters said. The injured people declined additional medical attention, firefighters said. “We were sad to see such a beautiful antique get damaged, but glad everyone was okay,” the Frankford Township Fire Department said.

A 56-year-old Columbia resident was killed in a car crash on Route 31 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to the car crash where they found a Chevy Avalanche had overturned, Washington Township police said. A car crash caused a power outage in Chatham on Friday, Feb. 2,authorities said. Main Street was closed between Fairmount Avenue and Lafayette Avenue after wires went down following the crash, the Chatham Borough Police Department said on Facebook.
