Body Found Floating In NJ River Police recovered a body from a New Jersey river early Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. Marine Service Troopers were dispatched to the Raritan River and South River in East Brunswick around 7:40 a.m., where they found a man's body floating in the water, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. No further information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.

Details Released In Rockaway River Body Recovery Authorities have released details in the body that was recovered from the Rockaway River Monday morning.  Police were called to a portion of the river in Boonton where responders pulled a 71-year-old man's body from the ice around 9:50 a.m., Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Passaic police notified surrounding agents of the body first seen floating south of the Monroe Street Bridge around 4 p.m., Garfield Police Chief Raymond Kovach said.
