Police Seek Witnesses To Lehigh Valley Hit-And-Run Crash
Police are seeking witnesses to a Lehigh Valley hit-and-run crash that seriously damaged another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle shown above was the victim of a hit-and-run crash at William Penn Highway and Emrick Boulevard around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, Bethlehem Township Police said on Sunday, August 14. The offending vehicle fled east toward Route 33 and likely has front passenger side damage, police said. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Ptl. A window was smashed and a firearm was stolen during a Northampton County car break-in in broad daylight, say authorities who are seeking clues on the culprit. An occupant of the vehicle pictured above broke a window and stole a firearm from a car parked on the 2800 block of Brodhead Road in Bethlehem Township around 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, local police said in a release on Wednesday, July 13. Police are on the lookout for a man who stole hundreds of dollars’ worth of seafood from Giant stores throughout Lehigh Valley. The suspect, pictured above, stole hundreds in frozen seafood from Giant grocery stores in Bethlehem Township and Lehigh Valley twice in October and November 2021, and again on Thursday, Feb. 3, township police said Friday. Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a vehicle in connection with the ongoing string of mail thefts throughout Bethlehem. The driver of the car pictured above is considered a suspect in a new string of mail thefts that occurred off of Harvard Place and off of 10th Street near Easton Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, township police said Monday. Threat Written Above Urinal Prompts Police Presence At Northampton County High School
Classes at the Bethlehem Area School District went on as scheduled after a threat was found written above a urinal at the high school Friday morning, officials said. The undisclosed threat was found above a urinal in a bathroom at Freedom High School, the district said on Twitter. “In consultation with Bethlehem Township Police, school and district officials determined that classes will continue as usual,” the post said. Meanwhile, Bethlehem Township police were patrolling school grounds for the rest of the day “out of an abundance of caution,” the district said.

RECOGNIZE THEM? Police in Bethlehem are seeking the public’s help identifying two men they say stole a wallet from a ShopRite customer and fraudulently used the credit cards inside. The men — pictured above — stole a wallet from a customer’s purse at ShopRite on Freemansburg Avenue on Jan. 11 around 1 p.m., Bethlehem Township police said.
