Officials Name Hiker Found Dead On Appalachian Trail In PA Authorities have identified the man found dead in Lehigh Township over the weekend.  Raghu Kodali, 61, of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, was discovered in a wooded area near the Appalachian Trail, the Northampton County Coroner's Office said.  His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, officials added.

The Knowlton Township Fire and Rescue Company was one of several crews that responded to the report of a fallen hiker about four miles north on the Appalachian Trail from the Dunnfield Creek Parking Area on Route 80, the squad said. Police ID Skeletal Remains In Lehigh Valley As 'Kunkletown Killer' Police have identified the skeletal remains found by hunters in the Lehigh Valley as belonging to a convicted killer.  Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said the bones were those of William S. Edelman, Jr., a 65-year-old who most recently lived in Catasauqua.  The remains were located just before 4:30 p.m. Monday in a secluded portion of the Appalachian Trail in Moore Township, the coroner said.  Edelman pleaded guilty to fatally shooting two men and wounding another in Monroe County in 1992, according to state court records.
