Morris County Man Indicted In Fatal Alcohol-Related Boat Crash Into Cement Marker: Prosecutor
A 19-year-old man from Morris County has been indicted in a fatal boat crash in Toms River, authorities said.
On Wednesday,, June 22, Juan Fernandez, II, of Towaco, was charged with death by vessel and assault by vessel, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The head-on crash into a cement marker occurred in Barnegat Bay in Toms River on June 13, 2021, Billhimer said, and resulted in the death of Corey Molinari, 19, of Whippany.

Vomit-Covered Man Drove Drunk On Rt. 15 With Trunk Open, Thought He Was In NY: Sparta Police
A 35-year-old New York man was drunk and covered in vomit when he drove with an open trunk on Route 15, authorities said.
Adam Doukas, of Otisville, was found covered in vomit as officers stopped him for the open trunk and several other violations on Route 15 in Sparta around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, police said in a Monday release.
When the officer asked Doukas if he knew where he was, he stated that he thought he was in Port Jervis, NY, according to police.
Doukas then handed the officer his credit card instead of registration when asked for his credentials, police said.

Maryland Woman Drinking In Lopatcong Strip Mall Lot Busted With Unprescribed Xanax, Pot
A Maryland woman ticketed for drinking in her car in the parking lot of a Lopatcong Township strip mall was also found with unprescribed Xanax pills, authorities said.
Lopatcong police responded to a report of two people smoking marijuana in a vehicle at the Stryker’s Crossing strip mall on May 20 around 7:30 p.m., authorities said in a release.
The vehicle’s passenger, identified as Chemika T. Brown, 43, of Capital Heights, Maryland, had 13 Xanax pills which she did not have a prescription for, and approximately 20 grams of marijuana and three pipes, authorities said.
