Crash Investigation Shuts Routes 19, 80 In Paterson
A crash investigation closed a portion of Route 19 and Route 80 on Sunday morning, Nov. 3 in Paterson, the NJDOT site shows. The crash happened around 11 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 19, south of Route 80. All lanes were closed as of press time. The eastbound lanes of Route 80 at Exit 57 were also closed.

An Ohio driver putting his own twist on the Jersey Slide found out the hard way what it'll get you. A 22-year-old Kia Soul operator pulled out of the Plato's Closet parking lot at 137 Route 46 West and crossed both westbound lanes of the highway to try to enter an emergency vehicle U-turn cut to try to get over to Route 46 East in Fairfield around 7:30 p.m., Fairfield Police Officer Stacy Chiarolanza said. Support is on the rise for a New Jersey family after their patriarch was killed in a crash after work. Alex Folnagy, 31, of Somerset, was the sole occupant of the 2010 Nissan Altima that crashed head-on with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler just before 7:25 a.m. on Amwell Road near South Middlebush Road in Franklin Township, Franklin Township police said. A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt.
