A Bloomingdale street is shut down after a truck collided with a utility pole around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. Bloomingdale police reported that the crash on Leary Avenue resulted in a complete closure of the road to all traffic as crews work to clear the scene and repair the damage. One crash took out two right lanes on the westbound side around 4:50 east of Exit 56 in West Paterson, the DOT site shows. Driver, 19, Killed In Route 80 Crash
A 19-year-old driver was killed in an early-morning Route 80 crash when he rear-ended a box truck stopped in the shoulder, authorities said. Cameron Ray, of Flanders, was heading west in a Subrau when he rear-ended the truck near milepost 38.2 in Denville around 5:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. A 73-year-old man was struck and killed by a car early Tuesday, Sept. 10 in West Milford, authorities said. Mod A. Khader, of Lincoln Park, was trying to cross Route 23 south when he was struck by a vehicle around 6 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes West Milford Police Chief James DeVore said.
