Dramatic Rescue: Firefighters Save Woman After Fall Onto Hackensack Railroad Tracks Hackensack firefighters sprang into action overnight to rescue a woman who had fallen onto railroad tracks. The incident occurred around 3 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to the Hackensack Fire Department.  Members of the Fourth Platoon, led by Deputy Chief J. Ingallinera, executed a high-angle rope rescue to reach the female victim who had fallen below Summit Avenue and American Legion Drive. A French bulldog named Klipse who went tumbling 40 feet down a cliff at Palisades Interstate Park was rescued by Port Authority Police officers on Tuesday morning July 30, PAPD spokeswoman Lenis Valens said.
