Driver Disregarded Crossing Gates Before Being Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train: Officials A driver was killed after being struck by an NJ Transit train Monday morning, Oct. 28 in Morris County, authorities said. Montclair-Boonton Line train 1074 struck the vehicle at the Ryerson Road crossing in Lincoln Park just before 9:30 a.m., NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba said.  A preliminary investigation found that the crossing gates were working as intended and were in the down position when the driver drove the vehicle around the gates and positioned the vehicle into the path of the train, Mulumba said. Golf Spectators Needed For 'Happy Gilmore 2' Filming In West Orange There are still roles to fill in the sequel to cult classic "Happy Gilmore" ahead of an upcoming shoot in New Jersey. A recent casting call is seeking golf spectators for the Adam Sandler film. The notice says extras will be portraying 2000s golf spectators on Sept. 24 in West Orange. Actors are needed for about 10 hours of work, or $176. Those who have already worked on the film should not apply. "Happy Gilmore 2" has been spotted filming all across New Jersey, most recently in Hackettstown. The movie will be streamed on Netflix. Click here to apply.
