'Trouble At The Hotel:' 2 Men Shot, 1 Dead In Fairfield (Update) Details have been released in a deadly shooting on Friday, Oct. 4 in Fairfield. One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting at the Ramada Inn on 2 Bridges Road around 12:30 p.m., Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Fairfield Police Chief Anthony Manna said.
