Details Released In PIP Crash That Killed NY Teen Authorities have released new details about a fatal crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway that claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy and injured several others, officials said. The two-car collision occurred at 5:58 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, in the southbound lanes of the Palisades Interstate Parkway near the New York state line, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. A 2025 Nissan Rogue carrying four people and a 2019 Honda CR-V were involved in the crash, Musella said. Bloomfield Woman Killed Crossing Busy Road In Bergen County: Prosecutor Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a 65-year-old woman on Route 46 in Bergen County on Sunday, Dec. 15. The incident occurred around 9:11 p.m. when Vilma Huamani-Centeno, of Bloomfield, was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the highway in the eastbound lanes, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Saddle Brook police responded and pronounced Huamani-Centeno dead at the scene. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, officials said.
