Two Women Shot In Jersey City: Police Two women were shot in Jersey City early Wednesday morning, May 6, authorities said. At 1:48 a.m., officers responded to 70 Rutgers Ave. for a report of shots fired and located two women, a 23-year-old shot twice in the legs and a 23-year-old shot in the foot, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Both injuries were non life-threatening and the victims are in stable condition, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
