Maplewood Exploring Improvements After Two Kids Struck By Vehicle Two students were struck by a vehicle on the morning of Monday, Oct. 7 in Maplewood, authorities said. At 7:52 a.m., officers responded to Prospect Street and Oakland Road after a car traveling south on Prospect struck the two juveniles, police said. One juvenile was transported to area hospital with parent for non-life-threatening injury and the second juvenile's parent declined medical transport, police said.
